For this assignment you were to have made contact with a local fire agency, review one of their firefighter training sessions and write a report of your findings. You will need to make contact with any local or area fire department (Training Officer) and ask them if you may observe a training session as part of your online fire training class.

Alternative to this assignment: Making contact with local agencies is a great way to get your face out there. Meeting with them will show you are interested in a career in the Fire Service. I highly recommend this. If you cannot possibly attend a training session the alternative is to go online and review a virtual training session.
