Chi square vs ANOVA vs Regression

There are many different statistical tests available to us as researchers. (I only have time to teach you a few of them.) Which test you use depends on the way you choose to set up your research project. Sometimes you will use DV questions that have interval scale response choices and sometimes you’ll just want a yes or no. Sometimes you’ll use an IV that is dichotomous (Loud vs. Soft volume) and sometimes you’ll use an IV that has a scale (Level of commercial volume). It’s all up to you!! and you choose to set it up.
