Government Support of Technological Innovation

In a three to five page paper (not including the title and reference pages), research and explain how the U.S. government supports innovative technology activities in companies. Discuss at least two government sponsored programs and explain the positive effects these programs have on technology innovation in the private sector. Explain if innovation would still occur if the government did not sponsor technology and innovation.

Your paper must use at least three scholarly sources, in addition to the text, and formatted according to APA style guidelines as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
